Join Austin Loreti's KICK CANCER campaign dedicated to raising awareness and support for children fighting cancer.
Under the guidance, mentorship, and collaboration with Greg Tufaro of the Marisa Tufaro Foundation, Saint Joseph High School student-athlete Austin Loreti has created the KICK CANCER fundraising campaign. Austin is the Kicker/Punter on the Falcons Varsity Football team and is using his position on the field to help others in need; specifically children and their families affected by pediatric cancer. This platform is near and dear to Austin’s heart as his own family has suffered the pain, grief, and loss of two separate family members to pediatric cancer.
His uncle Austin Huslage (South Plainfield, NJ), of which he was named in honor and remembrance, was called to the Lord when he was 10 years old in 1996. In addition, his first cousin Stephen Austin Maszczak (Raritan Township) was called to the Lord when he was 7 years old in 2011.
Every day, brave children and their families face the terrifying reality of a pediatric cancer diagnosis. Beyond the physical toll of treatments, families often face crushing financial strain from medical bills, travel costs, and lost work time. No family should have to choose between paying for their child’s treatment and sacrificing elsewhere.
Austin’s efforts will also preserve the legacy of kindness and support of which the Marisa Tufaro Foundation so proudly established and served as an inspiration for his own fundraising campaign.
This is why Austin is trying to raise money to support pediatric cancer patients and their loved ones through his KICK CANCER campaign. A small act of kindness via a monetary donation and your gift today will make a direct impact.
